Joshua has a long history in the world of aquatics, having spent five years swimming with the Cerritos Aquatics Club before joining his high school water polo and swim teams. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in economics from California State University, Long Beach.

Since 2014, Josh has been dedicated to swim instruction across various programs in Southern California, eventually becoming the Program Manager at MVN.

When he's not at the swim school, Josh enjoys quality time with his wife and their five cats. He also has a passion for food and lifting weights.
