Cody Davidson

Coach Cody joins the Mission Viejo Nadadores with more than 13 years of coaching experience in Southern California. Cody grew up swimming competitively through high school before beginning his aquatics career as a swim instructor and lifeguard and eventually moving into year-round competitive coaching with La Mirada Armada.

During his time with Armada, Cody worked with swimmers across a wide range of ages and levels, from developmental and age-group athletes to senior and national-level swimmers. Much of his coaching focused on athletes ages 12 to 16 and helping them make the transition into more advanced training, while also working with National Group athletes and swimmers competing at the national and Junior National level.

Cody enjoys building relationships with his swimmers and creating an environment that is challenging, positive, and fun. He places a strong emphasis on technique, consistency, accountability, and helping athletes understand the purpose behind their training while developing confidence both in and out of the pool.

“My goal is for swimmers to enjoy coming to the pool, understand why they’re doing the work, and leave each season more confident and prepared for whatever their next step is.”

Coach Cody is excited to join the Nadadores and looks forward to becoming part of the MVN community and working with its swimmers, families, and coaching staff.
