Coach Chris joined the Mission Viejo Nadadores in 2019 and has been coaching since 2015.

Before coming to MVN, Chris grew up in Fairfield, California, where he swam for SASO Swimming (now DART-Solano) through 2014. He went on to attend UC Santa Barbara, earning a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Asian American Studies. While in Santa Barbara, he served as the Head Developmental Coach for the Santa Barbara Swim Club.

After graduating, Chris returned to SASO as the Lead Age Group Coach and Head Satellite Coach while also working as an enterprise pipeline associate and strategy consultant with Amihan Global Strategies. During this time, he recognized that his true passion was coaching. Inspired to pursue that passion full-time, he moved to Southern California to join the storied Mission Viejo Nadadores program.

Since joining MVN, Chris has had the opportunity to serve as the Lead Coach for every group within the 11-12 Division and now serves as the 11-12 Division Director. During his time with the Nadadores, he has helped develop SCS Age Group Champions, Far Western qualifiers, and SCS All-Star Team members.

Beyond his work at MVN, Chris has remained actively involved in the broader swimming community. He served as DDEI Representative for the Orange Committee from 2021–2023 and currently serves as its Age Group Representative, a position he has held since 2023. He has represented Southern California Swimming as a coach at the All-Star Festival (2022, 2023) and Pacific Coast All-Stars (2024, 2025). Chris also coached at Mission Viejo High School for two seasons, serving as Head JV Girls Coach in 2022 and Head Varsity Girls Coach in 2023.
